Robert Olin

Robert F. Olin, 73, of Brodhead, WI, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in his home.

He was born on June 20, 1950 in Janesville, WI, the son of LeRoy and Hazel (Husker) Olin. Robert attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School and graduated from Parker High School in 1969. He received an auto mechanic certification from Blackhawk Technical College. Robert married Penny Pfieffer in 1971 in Janesville, WI.

Robert was formerly employed for 20 years at Badgerland Harvester, and retired in 2008 from General Motors. He enjoyed collecting antique tractors and fixing them. Robert was a family man and taught his family mechanics. He was known as “Mr. Fixer”. Robert was a member of the Rock River Thresheree and Badger Steam and Gas. He attended Magnolia Advent Church.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Penny Olin; son, Eric Olin; daughters, Elizabeth and Elysha Olin; his fur baby, Olivia; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Leon, Matthew, Rose and Nancy.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
