About Us

The Community Antique Tractor Pullers are just as the name states: a group of antique tractor loving people who love to compete to see who is better at pulling a hunk of metal down a dirt or blacktop road.

We have 70+ members in our club from all over southern Wisconsin, with some in northern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, Iowa and a few in Minnesota as well. We pride ourselves on accepting anyone with the passion for tractor pulling as long as they don’t beat us on our own tractors.

We have many events throughout the year. Our first event is one of our biggest participating pull and biggest payout as well. Our Annual $2K pull day in Brooklyn has as many as 200 people show up to a small town on the border of Green and Dane County to enjoy some fun together. Four additional weight classes are created where competitors go up against each other to see who can win $500. The event takes place around Memorial Day and is a great way to start off the season.

In March, the CATP supports the Sigourney, Iowa Spring Classic Pull. The two day event has a couple classes sponsored by the group and many of our members participate in the event. It is another big money class and a dirt churning good time.

Our club also supports the St. Jude foundation with our St. Jude pull taken place in Afton, Wis. Each year the CATP club has donated money to the Mean Green Pulling team in Tunica, Miss. at the biggest indoor winter tractor pull event helping them raise close to $50,000 each year that is all donated to St. Jude.

During our usual season, we see between 13-15 pulls on our schedule, going to places like Afton, Browntown, Durand, Ill., Argyle, Footville, Monticello and many others in between. There are plenty of dirt pulling with a few blacktop pulls thrown in there. When we go to our blacktop pulls, we switch things up and pull heavy to light to show off our big boys first.

All of our pulls are bound to have you wanting to come back for more.
